Boo! It’s Halloween again and that means candy and costumes and more candy. Don’t feed your dog candy, right? But don’t leave them out of the fun. Check out this awesome Halloween dog treat recipe and let your puppy join in on the Halloween fun.Spooky pumpkin Halloween dog treat recipe

The good thing about this recipe is that it has pumpkin and parsley in it which are both good for your dog. If you’ve never made dog treats before, don’t be alarmed if the dough is very dry and stiff. In fact, don’t bother using a mixer, it’s too dry. Use your hands.

Remember you’re not making cookies or muffins, but your dog will love them even better!

Spooky Pumpkin Halloween Dog Treat Recipe

  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley
  • 2 Tbsp dry milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Chicken broth or water

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix egg and pumpkin together, then add salt, parsley dry milk and flour. Use chicken broth or water to make the dough workable. It should dry and stiff.

Roll the dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut the dough into shapes using these cool Halloween shapes:

Place on plain cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes. Flip over and bake 20 more minutes.

Ding! Taste for flavor. Ok, that part is optional! Either way, enjoy!
